Generate revenue by selling and servicing defined accounts via the phone and/or Internet.
Add-on and upsell products and/or services.
Duties include outbound telesales activity for existing accounts, often overlay.
May be assigned to respond to email inquiries and orders.
May also generate leads for field sales team. Responsible for generating revenue by closing sales.
Less than 3 years sales experience
Previous experience selling software or services in support of technology products is desirable but not required
Strong computer skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Exhibited sales skills
Conversational/written English ? intermediate/good
Tied to specific field sales team
Uses furnished list of telephone numbers and follows an established sales script to inform customers of company products/services
Places outbound calls to solicit sales, usually involving add-on sales to existing customers or smaller sized new accounts
Secures and places orders; arranges delivery date
